What is good healthcare and how could it be delivered?

15th January 2015 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm

The Thistle Hotel, Poole

Clinicians in Dorset and the surrounding areas are looking at ways to improve health care so that everybody in the county has access to safe, high-quality, affordable services now and in the future. Come and find out about the proposals they are developing at a series of public events in January. Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group, which is the organisation responsible for commissioning most NHS services in Dorset, is undertaking a review of healthcare in Dorset to ensure that everybody in the county has access to safe, high-quality, effective and affordable health services now and into the long-term. The first stage of the review was to look at all the evidence about NHS health care in Dorset, a detailed picture of what is working well and where performance needs to be improved. Now the clinicians have started the task of coming up with models of good clinical care. What does good care look like? What would need to happen to ensure that it is delivered consistently across Dorset?
