Educational Meeting – Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

Dorset LPC would like to invite you to an educational meeting on:-

Tuesday 9th June 2015 at Merley House, Wimborne, BH21 3AA.

There is just one date for this educational meeting and it is for pharmacists and their teams.

As you may be aware new treatments for IBS have recently been given the green status in Dorset CCG and there is also an update from NICE on IBS management. The meeting is being led by Sue Surgenor, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Specialist Nurse at Poole Hospital who will hold an interactive session on:-

 Diagnosis
 Red flags
 Management of IBS and the local treatment pathway
 Why this can be a frustrating syndrome for both patients and health care professionals
 OTC products and accompanying advice
